Event Details

Following The Diversity Event at The Glasgow City Chambers in September, we would like to invite you to join us again to mark the importance of communities coming together at Christmas. Celebrating the festive period together and acting as role models for inclusion at this special time of year.

In an evening celebration, you will have the opportunity to catch up with people who shared their stories in September and hear updates on how they have moved on. They so welcome your support and encouragement. You will also have the opportunity to network and enjoy a fabulous Hot African Buffet. Don’t miss out on the raffle!

We are a small team of 4 unpaid volunteers and are thankful that your support has enabled us to reach over 250 people this year. As the need for our work continues to grow, we are hoping to raise £20,000 which will make it possible for us to pay rent and operational costs for next year. It will make it possible for us to provide and safe, learning community space for migrants, refugees and asylum seekers who often find themselves in new communities with no understanding of the new systems and often no friends or family.

If you are not able to make it and would still like to support, you can donate a ticket or enter a donation.

Children’s entry 0-4 years Free, 5 – 12 years, any donation will be accepted.

Please pass on the invite to 10 of your colleagues/contacts, and come let’s together enjoy an inspirational and fun evening!

Inspiration 2013

20th September, 2013 | Pollokshaws Burgh Hall, Glasgow.

Radiant & Brighter recently attended the Inspiration 2013 event organised by REACH, a community project that supports people from ethnic communities with health and employment matters. Speakers from the Scottish Government and the NHS attended the event to discuss some of the issues around BME Employability and Health.

Our team, Micheal and Mariam, were on hand to give information and friendly advice to visitors about employment training and finding work.
